The national “Innovations in Action” program now supports innovative schools, introducing new subjects and interdisciplinary modules, fostering multidisciplinary learning. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Emilia Lazarova announced an additional BGN 1,800,000 to enhance student motivation and performance at the regional innovation forum in Vidin. Over 70 participants from 30 schools across Vidin, Vratsa, Lovech, Montana, and Pleven attended the event.
Lazarova highlighted that these forums, part of the National Program “Innovations in Action,” aim to cultivate an innovative culture in schools and promote innovation across all aspects of school life. Now in their fourth year, the forums facilitate mutual learning and encourage innovative solutions. Lazarova emphasized the importance of fostering innovation networks between schools, higher education institutions, and the non-governmental sector to exchange ideas and innovations.
